Lucky us! Sister Fiso will be serving in Plaquemine, but I don't know for how long. Our other Temple Square Sister, Sister Amar, went to Denham Springs with Sister Pearson to replace Sister Liu. But transfers are this Wednesday, and everything could change.
So for now, we're loving getting to know our Samoan from Australia. She has the best "down under" accent and is a typical friendly, bouncy, bubbly Temple Square missionary. She was born in Samoa, the oldest of 3 children. Her family moved to New Zealand when she was 5 then to Australia at age 11. Her brother and 2nd child is serving a mission in the Fiji Suva. (I'll have to tell Elder Navitikula to look him up when he goes home in February.) Her younger sister just put in her mission papers (as did our grandson, Marc, as of last week!)
