I have a feeling that, from now until the beginning of the year, it's going to be bordering on bedlam around here. Several phone calls have already come in this week from moms who've received emails from their missionaries informing said moms that transfers are next week, and there's, understandably, some concern as to where to send Christmas packages. And no one will know until next Monday evening if they're being transferred, and they won't get their new addresses until Wednesday. Judging from the Louisiana mail, one week will not be enough time to get anything anywhere. The option is to send it to the mission office and our little Christmas Elves will deliver them. FYI I'm not faulting anyone for sending or not sending things. The circumstances are simply out of our hands. Merry Christmas to us all!
Lots of Elders in and out and in and out of the office this morning. Elder Myers and Elder Smiley, left, were on their way to the temple, and Elder Soper and Elder White were heading for the Denham Springs Stake Center for a 2 Zone Specialized Training.
